Evolution percentage
As its name indicates, an evolution percentage gives the evolution in percents between two values, over time. You calculate it thanks to the formula :
For example, if there were 55 millions of inhabitants in France in 1980 and 60 millions in 1990, then the evolution percentage between 1980 and 1990 is :
The evolution of the number of inhabitants between 1980 and 1990 is 9%.
